At my last appointment my midwife heard Peanut's tale of being the surprise boy and they rushed me to the other room for a pre-20 week ultrasound. I love these ladies. That makes today's, true 20 weeker, at the radiologist, a big giant verification and a health check. Ha ha. I am actually quite sure they are not wrong. Three trained docs have looked at these pics and verified we will not have a magical appearance by a little lady come December. This ultrasound was about 100 time better than with Peanut. It was longer, more thorough and there were way better machines. They even gave me a DVD of the proceedings for free this time. Hallelujah!
Here's a picture update from week 18. This is the most recent belly shot I've got. This little guy is a mover and shaker! I've been feeling lots of big movement since week 16. I learned that in the second trimester that baby's aren't big enough yet for you to feel their kicking so what you are feeling is the baby flipping and tumbling around in your tummy. This guy's a real acrobat! Especially around my bed time. Rob couldn't feel Peanut until about week 25 last time. Not so here. Good job!
