Happy Halloween!

Boo! I absolutely love Halloween. I love costumes. I love all of the adorable kids with their tiny outfits, cute candy holders, and even cuter lisps and stutters when saying "Trick or Treat". I love the hype around something so silly. I love that we are ridiculous enough to choose to scare ourselves and that we make a holiday of it.

Today, because of the invention of Halloween costumes, I was able to wear sweats to work. That's far better then candy my friends. I was a Care Bear, specifically Good-Luck Bear. I teamed with none other than Bedtime Bear (co-worker Joleen), to win the couples costume contest. No big deal. Yes there will be pictures as soon as they are uploaded. We have quite the fall spread. So check back later for a Care Bear Stare like you've never seen before!

Fall

"Don't you love New York in the fall? It makes me wanna buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address. On the other hand, this not knowing has its charms."

-You've Got Mail-

So I surprised Rob the other day with his very own bouquet of newly sharpened pencils. I had scoured Provo for a DVD copy of this delightful movie and finally found it at FYE. Hallelujah. I was afraid I was going to have to wait weeks for my surprise.

I have been embracing the new crisp weather instead of dreading the cold like I usually do. Fall is sure beautiful, and over all to fast.
There is this huge tree outside of the wall of the windows in the conference room at work and it is all orange and gold against the green grass and gray sky. I want to sit in there all day.

So go put on a sweater (hooray!) and take a walk. It's wonderful and refreshing and you won't regret it.

Weddings are Delicious

I had the magical opportunity to attend my sisters wedding a couple of weeks ago. It was delightful...everything I had always wanted. Yes I am booing winter weddings! So here's the fun part, Katie was brave enough, to Dad's dismay, to let me make her wedding cake. Four layers of perfection (with raspberry filling) I would say. Ha ha!
