{ All Grown Up }

I'm talking about us, not the baby this time. Last night we hired our first baby sitter. It was the strangest feeling when she showed up. I felt like I wasn't any older than she was, I just had a baby and she didn't. Then I was reminded of the 10 year age difference. Hmmm. What a strange growing experience and what a way to double the price of a date.

On our date we decided to see a fabulous  movie, "The King's Speech". It has joined my list of top 5 favorite films. It was inspiring and motivating and really made Rob and I realize we need to learn a little bit more about the world's history. It was one of those wonderful films where you walk out of the theater feeling like a better person. Like maybe I could make a difference in the world. This quote from Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" was a major theme and a thought for you all to ponder for the day:

"Be not afraid of Greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them."

The acting was incredible and the script was superbly written, it was smart, witty and emotional. That's probably why it won four Oscars this year, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Screenplay. Oh and every main character in the film was nominated for the award. No big deal. So please give it a look. You will not be disappointed.
